Overview
Impossible is just a word
This cinema film captures an extraordinary chapter in the life of former Formula 1 driver Alessandro Zanardi, who lost his legs in a near-fatal crash in 2001. Not only did he survive, he went on to write one of the greatest stories in sporting history — becoming a Paralympic gold medalist and winning races at the highest level of motorsport. In our film, he takes on a new adventure: Taking part in the 24 Hours of Spa alongside Timo Glock and Bruno Spengler — while preparing for the paracycling world championship in Switzerland just days later. At the time, no driver with a disability had ever competed at this level. Between sessions, he trained on his handbike.Three days after Spa, he lined up for the world championship. An award-winning documentary about willpower and the ability to turn the impossible into reality.
